FREE class on how to create holiday drinks.
She will also provide the class again on Sunday, December 11
between 4 and 5pm.




6:15-6:45pm at the Green behind Town Hall

Join the Pleasant Valley Chorale and your friends
and neighbors for the lighting of the Town Christmas Tree!




and then sing your way across the street with the ensemble to the Essex Community Church where they will present:


The
Pleasant Valley Chorale (celebrating its 30th year!) will present a program of holiday music entitled

"Songs of the Magi"

on Friday, December 9th at 7:00pm at the Essex Community Church.

Admission is free with a goodwill donation accepted at the door.

The chorale is a 40-voice ensemble, directed by Susan Hughes, accompanied
by Kerri Mero, Laurel Ruth on cello and sponsored by the Elizabethtown Social Center.

Get your Christmas scavenger hunt card from any Essex business and follow the clues around Essex. Get stamps, stickers or signatures to prove you've been to the correct locations and bring your completed card to the concert at 1:30pm for a special gift from Santa!

Come hear the beautiful 4-part harmony sounds of the Champlain Valley Sweet Adelines as they sing holiday music in their own special way! Children who participated in the scavenger hunt that day will also be able to get their special present at this event from Santa himself!

A Christmas Carol Radio Play and Holiday Celebration
A much-loved community tradition returns! Featuring live music from the Adirondack Children's Chorus (Jennifer Moore, director) and the Grange String Players! Radio Play directed by James Coleman. Suitable and fun for all ages.

3pm -- Cookie-decorating for kids, swing and social dancing, refreshments.
4pm -- Performance

Suggested donation: $10 for adults. Any and all donations welcome.
All proceeds support the food pantries in Elizabethtown, Willsboro and Westport.
